Our Favorite New Books from the Library
Library time is a weekly part of the schedule for us and KJ and Stace have uncovered some especially great books. Every once in a while we find something really fun or special. Here are a few my new favorites. Inky's Amazing Escape Since he encountered Hachi, the adorable ninja octopus on CodeSpark, KJ has been sharing all the wonder of octopuses with me. Inky really captured my heart though. This is like Finding Dory but with an octopus... and it's all true. Babar's Museum of Art OK, this is another one from KJ. Back when we were homeschooling I tried to get him into art history with our art history coloring book. My success with that was limited. (He really got into coloring his own version of Caravaggio's Medusa though. Nothing proves I'm trying to culture my child like a picture of the decapitated head of Ancient Greek harpy.)
